dear diary...: want to jot a quick note to yourself? want to write a little journal entry that no one else can see? when you post a blog, you can set the security to limit viewers to only you. your searches will still scan through, so it works just like any other blog. except no one else can see it!
related posts: be sure to tag your posts! tagging your posts will not only give viewers a good idea of what it's about before they read it, but it will also make "related posts" more accurate. this way, someone reading your last post about pixar's new movie, tagged with pixar, will see a suggestion to read your post from last year about wall-e!
my girlfriend just updated her iPhone to 3.0. very exciting.
for some reason, i really like being near huge bodies of water. i'm really not sure why, but i feel much more comfortable if there's a lake or a river nearby, even if it's a half a mile away

abstract: the "abstract" section of blogs allows you to write a quick summary of your post. this is what people see before they click to view it, so you can give them a good idea of what to expect.
updates: if you want to update a blog without changing the original content, simply click the update link when viewing your own blog. this will show up with a timestamp, and it will be clear that it was not part of the original post
