friends: if you tend to post somewhat personal stuff, you can set the post to be visible only to your friends. you can mark each user as a friend when viewing their profile. removing a friend will remove their ability to see your friends-only posts
related posts: be sure to tag your posts! tagging your posts will not only give viewers a good idea of what it's about before they read it, but it will also make "related posts" more accurate. this way, someone reading your last post about pixar's new movie, tagged with pixar, will see a suggestion to read your post from last year about wall-e!

some of my friends say i'm self deprecating. what they don't know is that i generally only tell them the best things about myself.
i am a crumpler. i don't trust folders.
abstract: the "abstract" section of blogs allows you to write a quick summary of your post. this is what people see before they click to view it, so you can give them a good idea of what to expect.
timezone: move around a lot? avalantern can detect your timezone for you, but if you'd prefer, you can set it in your settings
