these days on avalantern:
restrict comments: do you often find yourself writing a beautiful work of art, only to have it bashed in the comments? sometimes this can be a drag. you can restrict comments on your posts in your settings
thumbnails: a thumbnail is a small image, usually smaller than a square inch. you profile thumbnail almost becomes your nametag for people who look at lots of information quickly
timezone: move around a lot? avalantern can detect your timezone for you, but if you'd prefer, you can set it in your settings
connecting to twitter: you can easily sync your avalantern ellipses with twitter! in settings/twitter, authorize with twitter, and set your preferences. because of the authorization method (known as oauth), avalantern will never see your password, and you can cancel the authorization any time via twitter.com!
