In Memory of My Lovely iPhone 3G(S)
26 April 2010, 2:18pm

i know it could be worse and i will eventually have a new iPhone, then i will be happy with the new perfect company. but she was my first earned iPhone 3G(S) even she is not anymore. and i will always miss her - the scratch beauty.

what a horrible day for me, the day i lost my lovely iPhone 3G(S), the day it’s got stolen by some bad guys, the day she left me forever.

i had such a wonderful time with her. Last December, i spent half the money on my saving account to get her from HongKong. HK Maggie and Peter helped me to get her. she was so beautiful the moment i saw her. She has so peaceful glass screen, cool black body, lying on the box so quietly, waiting for her new owner.

My first time to really buy an iPhone, a brand-new iPhone. First time i own an real unlocked iPhone. I was so so so happy.

i bought new cute phone bag for her so she wouldn’t get hurt. i took her everywhere. She was such a great company. You want to know how to get to somewhere, ask her map. You want to have a list of the shopping items, write it on her notes. if you are bored, open some fun games from her. you want to know where to eat dinner, ask her. if you are trying to take a funny picture of your boyfriend exercise his big nose, she will help you! she was my iPod, camera, calendar, weather forecast, newspaper and lots of other cool things.

of couse, sometimes we had some small unhappy moment. she didn’t accept my old wifi settings, so it took hours for Peter and I finally made it to work. and i was very frustrating with her during the process, though i was very happy to finally get it work.

i made a big mistake to drop her on the ground and caused a scratch on her. the scratch was long but not too bad, barely can see if don’t pay attention. but i was so sad and felt so bad for several days.

and we went to vietnam and california together! what fun trips we did together.

Only 5 months, she left so soon and i felt lost. the last thing i did with her was to turn off the morning alarm. i was so sure she would be with me as usual when i put her in the pocket as i did every morning. and when i tried to feel her on the bus, as usual, she was not there anymore, she was not there.

she was smart, so i can have all my data on my Macbook backup and i don’t need to worry about some else read my data because i locked her screen with password. She came to me as such an amazing gift and she left so quickly and quietly without any notice. i didn’t even have any pictures with her, not like my last iPhone.

Even now she was gone, i’m still very proud of having her. i love her a lot and i hope whoever took it can treat her as she was an iPhone not just some cheap stolen cell phones. i curse the people who stole her but wish she will be happy with her new owner.

i know it could be worse and i will eventually have a new iPhone, then i will be happy with the new perfect company. but she was my first earned iPhone 3G(S) even she is not anymore. and i will always miss her - the scratch beauty.

thanks for my great awesome boyfriend’s support for this horrible day. and my family are trying to help me get over it. Thanks, dad, thanks mom, thanks my love peter.

Goodbye, lovely iPhone 3G(S). Don’t be scared of those horrible people, be strong and find the next kind owner. we will all be fine.

not to put salt on your wounds, but i just realized that even your av.com profile photo has your [old] iPhone in it. maybe you should change it. didn't we get a good photo of you recently?
