I recommend seeing Inglorious Basterds
Last night I saw the movie Inglorious Basterds. Generally, I have a short attention span for movies. Anything past an hour and forty minutes and I am probably glancing at my watch wondering how much longer it will be. Inglorious Basterds was two and a half hours long and I definitely didn't feel it dragging on at all.
It was a good mix of good dialogue, subtle humor, and debauchery. It also had a star-studded cast: Brad Pitt, Julie Dreyfuss, that guy from Goodbye Lenin, and even a cameo by Mike Meyers. I highly recommend the movie and hope that you do not take my weakly written review of it to reflect its quality.

[30 August 2009]I liked it, although it was so violent at times that I felt sick. I agree with everyone who says Christoph Waltz stole the show and deserves an Oscar.

[01 September 2009]nocturtle: i agree that it was a bit graphic. i sort of expected it though, being a tarantino movie.
my advice: don't see reservoir dogs if you thought basterds was graphic!
