Song of the Week: In Houston by Tapes n' Tapes

My song of the week is called In Houston. It is by the band Tapes n' Tapes.

From what I have gathered, thelowlypeon doesn't like the city of Houston. But that shouldn't stop him, or any of you, from checking out the song In Houston by Tapes n' Tapes. There are lots of great songs on the album, so don't necessarily limit yourself to In Houston. However, it is currently my favorite song on their album The Loon.

verdict: pretty groovy. reminds me of lots of stuff I can't put my finger on. perhaps a bit more modest mouse than I usually go for. but still not bad

i think i got it. it reminds me of a combination of the specials meets the punk/ska bands i was in in high school. except, unlike the latter, and like the former, these guys aren't bad.
