A 10" high pile of rubble, comprised of small rocks and dirt, has mysteriously accumulated alongside the interior garage east wall. Clearly critter created. But from where? Summer finally has come to Chicago! Deliciously hot, muggy, and rainy. Sat on the front screened porch and read the newspaper and my current book, a novel by the Swedish author, Henning Mankell, while waiting for the storm to blow in. Great summer smells. Heaven.
