Computer Mystery
02 June 2010, 8:25pm

Upon returning to work yesterday after vacation (getting married in Ohio), I discovered that my computer's hard drive was fried. Everything worked great when I left it the week before, but I came back to a black screen and "Cannot Find Drive 0" message. The IT department couldn't figure out what had happened. They took it away and started the data recovery process, and they ended up finding the documents of every other person who has ever used that computer - except me. My profile was wiped completely clean, and all of my pictures, documents, etc. are gone. However, my boss' pictures from 4 years ago are all there, as is the 2005 Summer Temp's resume, along with everything else not related to me. Why would my stuff be the only thing to disappear without a trace?

That is completely crazy! I can't even imagine what would cause something like that.
