THE Lowly Peon

fibonacci blanket
11 August 2006, 3:38am

so, along with a couple of updates to the site, a little stress and a bunch of pierros pizza to calm me, i noticed that some people have been pressuring me a bit to put pictures of my new blanket up. this blanket took me many many hours, as the warp (the part that i need to thread each string individually) had 880 pieces of yarn, and the weave itself wasn't exactly a no-brainer. stayed up late a few nights, lost a lot of sleep, but feel good about it after all this time. here's the blanket: it's about 4'x6'.

many of you have seen this already, so my apologies. and for those of you who don't know much about the fibonacci sequence, i hope you can learn a bit about it before i get my tattoo of it
