so i just found a website related to flickr that will find pictures on your flickr account that are more interesting than not according to some super cool algorithm that flickr has.

i was playing around on it and found out that on 13 oct 2006, one of my photos (view) was on the top 500 most interesting photos on all of flickr (number 435)! so everyone go to the site and, if you have a yahoo (or flickr) id, leave some comments so it becomes even more interesting! and if you have a flickr account, check to see if you're on it too and be sure to comment here with the link! i'm so excited!

on the site it shows only what the rank was when you first entered the top 500 (i guess)... so initially it said 493, but then if you click a link, it'll show the highest rank, which was 435. sorry for the confusion

notice to all flicker-ites!! they changed the algorithm that measures how interesting your photo is, so now if your photo is in a group that encourages comments (ie post one, comment on three), the interestingness of your photo goes down! see here or here for more info
