greetings, my lovely peterdotters. as some of you may have noticed, peterdot was down for quite some time today (sunday). though i know there must have been a painfully irreplaceable gap in your hearts, the worst is now over. for those of you who care, something strange happened with the database (which is funny because i'm in a database class right now), such that any time the site tried to access any sort of information about you (ie user name, last time you logged in, etc), the site stopped working. somehow, the guys over at dreamhost fixed it. so yay! peterdot's back up. i wasn't sure what to do with myself for a while there! hooray!
