so this weekend at the hotel i work at, there's this group called DECA, which apparently is a ton of high school students in some kind of business competition. anyway, i've had to work my two days off (with good pay, so i'm no complaining), so they could fill up the restaurant.
tonight, i served three tables. THREE. all night. they were huge tables, but still only three.
anyway, as i was filling water on table four, the girl in position four, no more than fourteen, i estimated, asked me: excuse me. can i get your phone number? i stumbled upon a response.
later, the server asked if they were going to college next year. nope. she's a sophomore. i guess i look younger than even i thought
