THE Lowly Peon

so after much thought, time alone, coffee, and good jazz, i've come to learn something about myself. and thus, i thought i'd share it with all of you.

many of you, specifically everyone, think that i'm not so good when it comes to money. a few of you have tried to teach me lessons throughout my years, many have made comments, while others i've conversed with regarding the topic. believe me, i take no offense. i'd rather be different with money, but my earn-to-spend attitude has given me a pretty satisfying and happy life thus far. again, [mother,] you needn't worry; i know that this probably isn't the best way to do things, and i admit that i've been rather good about it since i've gone flat broke a few months back.

as many of you could also agree, i tend to get really excited about things. i like to think so, at least.

anyway, i bring this up because i've realized why i buy so much stuff. not only do i get excited about things, but i kind of need to. if i go through a really boring phase of my life, i find myself wanting to make a big purchase. because it's so exciting to get a new external hard drive, or a sweet three piece suit, or a pocket watch, or a one way train ticket to who knows where. for example, after having worked this job for three months now, i really want to go burn all the money i've made (fortunately i still have no money to burn).

so, i posted this, thinking maybe i'll just try to get excited about other stuff, like my website (or will's). meh. just thought i'd share. very exciting, eh?
