a few quick updates:

san francisco is awesome. i am surely going to live here after my china adventuresi know a lot of really great people, and a bunch of them are being super cool by giving me a place to stay and showing me around even though i'm sure they're quite busy. thanks, guys!

trains are super. and they're everywhere in this city. and they're all electric, so they're pretty quiet. and fast!
