THE Lowly Peon

embarrassing admission

so i have a big cloth bag (from a kelty sleeping bag) that i use to store my dirty laundry. it's quite convenient— it's any size you need it to be, which makes it great for traveling, and you can wash it with your clothes so you never need to worry about baskets or anything. i washed my laundry sometime late last week, and since i've been busy being lazy, i delayed put everything away until sometime when i wanted to feel productive. then, this weekend, i went to austin to see my buddy nick. today after my run, i went to throw my shirt in with my dirty laundry and noticed how full that white bag was. hmm. i thought i had done my laundry recently, i mumbled (aloud, probably). so tonight, after watching house and programming a bit, i gathered a bunch of my other dirties (towel, washcloth, etc) and threw them in the washing machine. as i emptied out the white bag i noticed one of those happy smelling bounce sheets. what's that doing in there, i thought. oh right. it's because all of these clothes (save the towel, running stuff, and washcloth) are totally clean. and now are wet and have detergent on them. nice work, pete.
