THE Lowly Peon

iDid it!
23 October 2007, 3:45am

ah yes! at long last, i have hacked into the updated firmware version (v1.1.1) of my iPhone! i've been weary as hell about doing it, but i did it! hoorah! it's currently 10:41pm (or 22:41, benj), and i started around 7:00pm (19:00). which means that since 7:00, i've been paranoid as hell, and my heart rate has been somewhere around 300bpm. (the reason for this, if you don't know, is that apple released a statement saying hacked iPhones would be possibly "bricked" with the update, due to much tighter security on the iPhones.) in fact, at one point, i almost accepted that i lost it. which would make for a bad pattern. the program i used to hack it said a particular step would take 2-3 minutes ("so be patient"). it took around 16 minutes, and i was far from patient after the 3rd minute. so i quit. bad idea. it took about 25 minutes of messing around and trying different things to get my computer to even recognize it. phoooph. was i scared. but now, it works! and don't tell apple! god what a pointless post. i could have condensed it to "yay! i hacked my iPhone!" sorry for those of you that read all of this.
