THE Lowly Peon

another perfectly beautiful weekend brought to a perfectly miser
29 October 2007, 3:16am

i just had a great weekend with my buddy nick, his girl, and their friends. we saw joanna newsom with the austin symphony orchestra, ate some great food, drank some good booze, and had a great time. it was wonderful. i noticed on the 2 1/2 hour drive home that the company car was exceptionally loud. and then i realized that it was loud. and then i realized that i was blasting my music and could barely hear it because the car was so loud. i pulled over to check it out, but it sounded like any car may sound when it's going fast, except much louder. anyway, my head started throbbing and my ears ringing because this car was so loud (did i mention that the car was loud?). i couldn't, for the life of me, figure it out. i just got home and as i was pulling into my apartment complex, i noticed the car was not just loud, but it was making horribly strange noises. drag. so now i need to take it to a shop and get it fixed, whatever it is. i guess i'm just glad i got home. that would have been a real bummer if i got stranded somewhere in podunk, tx.
