well, friends. the time has finally come. after over ten weeks in the armpit of america, ten weeks sitting in a cubicle, ten weeks driving fifteen minutes to get anywhere, i'm finally going to reach my goal. though only for a short visit, i head back to china on monday. and i couldn't be more excited. my trip will be quite busy, so i won't be able to focus as much of my energy on the visit, but i'll still have my own time to walk through the streets of hangzhou, breathe the slightly polluted air and eat darn* good food. the last few days have been a lot of fun — my sister and parents came down to houston for thanksgiving — and i'm sad to see them go. but what a great way to conclude a great weekend! i'm a wee bit tired so my thoughts are more scattered than usual (if that's even possible), but i hope to post frequent updates regarding my future home. and hopefully even some pictures! anyway, wish me luck, my friends. here goes!
