so the holidays have nearly passed ('nearly' only because we still have new year's to go). i must say, it been a bit exhausting, but lots of fun, no doubt. i've been able to spend lots of time with my family (we miss you, mags, and you're with us in spirit. and on peterdot!), and i've seen a few of my friends (sorry, the few of my friends here in chicago). it's been wonderful. i know this is a lame mini-post, but i just wanted to let you all know i'm still alive. i've been super busy livin' the dream with my fam, but i've not forgotten about you! let's see. highlights: will made it home from scotland with only minor set-backs, but he handled it like a champ. and what's an extra 24 hours, right?!we got to video chat with maggie33 and her class of 14 year old korean boysi got two sweater vests! thanks, B. Alan Thomas!! and poppy, i'm not yet sure they "protect me from cute girls"the invincible blab made me a CD! and it's awesome!i've been drinking way too much good booze.we finally set up a festivus pole. i'll try to upload a photo or two in the next few daysi've already eaten pierros, walker bros, and koi (fancy sushi), and i'm going to eat more, better sushi with will on sunday!lake michigan is even more beautiful than i remember it beingsaulamander and his fam came to town, which was a blasti saw junoi'm going to a goose island beer tasting tomorrow with the great jack connor, and then out for a night on the town with nellie and her friends yay! happy holidays, everyone!
