i'm going to vietnam next week for work stuff. i'm setting up a new branch on our network (our windows network). very exciting business.

as thrilling as this may sound, what i was really excited for was that i was gonna be able to see and hang out with my buddy sierra. she's been living there for some time and, from what i understand, she plans on being there quite a bit longer. she seems, too, like she'd be a lot of fun to be in "travel mode" with.

but, yet again, i pushed my moron button. for some reason, i assumed she was in ho chi minh city, which is where i'll be going. but she's in hanoi. i just found this out today.

i'm still excited as hell about going to vietnam, checking it out, eating good food, and wandering around in a new place (which i've heard great things about). i'm just bummed that i won't be able to see sierra.
