bad timing, again

so i'm going to vietnam in a few weeks, after a quick layover in hong kong for a night (traveling to vietnam is not easy, so i'm breaking the layover in two).

no more than two hours after i bought the tickets, i realized that jack connor (yes, the jack connor) is coming to shanghai the weekend that i was planning on leaving. so that visit will be cut short. blast.

but wait. it gets better.

i've really been enjoying my hangzhou weekends/free time. so when i bought my tickets, it pained me a bit to decide to stay in vietnam for the weekend after my work week. but it was well worth it, as i was going to visit sierra up in hanoi. very exciting!

except i just got an email from her saying that she's doing some crazy hippy motorcycle trip until december. blast.

so much for planning ahead.
