a sequel to a bit drunk in business class, which was a much happier flight. as a preface, this is very boring. i used up all my brain juice programming on this flight. and wow was it a long flight.
five hours down, just over nine to go. I can't believe how slowly time passes sometimes. I programmer for about four hours until my first battery died. those four hours went by in a snap, yet the last 45 minutes or so have dragged on slower than a watched pot not quite at a boil.
five more hours. I've programmer without stopping for more than my eyeballs can bear. but my airplane headphone jack is broken, which means I can't watch lousy sitcoms (actually, currently on the teli is "please select another channel". nice). I'm sleepy but my back hurts from this chair so I can't even pretend to try to sleep.
come on, beck. let me disappear into your world of mutations for a bit so I can forget I'm barely two thirds of the way through my flight (and less than half of my while trip).
it's a good think I love taking random trips across the planet so much, because those business class upgrades sound mighty attractive right now.
four hours to go. managed to kill some time playing a new spider game I got for my iPhone. fearing my batteries will die before I get home in nine or so hours, I stopped playing. current tv show: "please wait. system not available." i've been waiting about fourth minutes.
