i really should call this my song of the decade. this is such a great song, and the rendition on lennon's acoustic is just incredible.

i've never been particularly fond of the published version, too polished. but then yoko released this album, a collection of lennon and a guitar mostly, and this song jumped out at me. it seems the perfect song for almost any occasion: waking up and being excited about the day, if you're bummed about something and need a pick-me-up, if you're just relaxing, if you're anything.

if you don't have this song, i HIGHLY recommend you buy it. iTunes has it for $1.29. worth it.
