On my way home from my date with daisy and buying new shoes today, I was walking by the Feiyunjiang bus station when I saw four guys, two on each of two mopeds, grabbing moped batteries and riding off. These batteries are not cheap. Really, they cost probably about half as much as a new bike costs. daisy's dad got his stolen a few months back and it really caused quite a stir.
What made me really sad, though, was not only that these four pieces of poop* stole three batteries, but also that at least five people stood there and watched. I started shouting "they're stealing batteries!" and banged on the door of the convenience store they were parked in front of. I ran after the bikes for a bit, but there was no use. Two workers at the store came out, really bummed out. No more battery, they'll have to spend a bunch of money to replace it, and, probably shittiest, they need to find some other way to get home.
I hate bad people.
I walked by again today and saw that everyone's bike had no battery — they had taken them inside to be safe
