A project I've talked about before, Vosotros: Music For You-All, made it to the New York Times yesterday.
The article is based mainly on learning music monthly, a project in which John Wood produces a new album every month, and releases it for free under Creative Commons.
This is a huge step for independent music, and for people seeking to abolish the silly RIAA-fathered system of marketing music. Kudos to Vosotros and LMM.
For those of you who haven't yet checked it out, do so for free at Learning Music Monthly (And donate! Support your local-ish artists!)
